if you find yourself staying at the vagabond inn by the beach, i'd recommend this spot for a word-up-watering-hole. star lounge is pretty much totally sweet, kinda like lucy's but with mad west coast steez.

eggleston retrospective at the whitney!!!!

mr. william eggleston, photographs and videos 1961-2008, opened last week!! he is one of my super favorites, + undeniably one of the all time greatest photographers to have ever clicked a shutter. he is also the pioneer of color snapshot photography, paving the way for the likes of juergen teller, terry richardson, nan goldin, martin parr, ryan mcginley, wolfgang tillmans and bien sur, moi aussi.
i'm going tomorrow and seriously am so excited to see his dye transfer prints in person!
also gossip girl is on tonight..everything is looking terrifically sunny over in these parts!
