sari and i stumbled across the lovely little shop, la manuel alpargtera, on the way to barceloneta, not far from the pappabubble shop here..of course it was closed but it was open when we headed home early due to cloudy weather..i found a ton of them that i wanted but held back and only got 5 pairs..i mean they are so cheap and so awesome and so euro-fantastic..how could i not?! it was a bit tricky as they spoke little to no english and we spoke little to no spanish but we got by with hand gestures and exclamations..
