after spending months propping up my computer all willy-nilly to trick the screen into working, i finally sucked it up and got an upgrade. the screen doesn't turn black , except when i tell it to. and it turns on and off easily. and it's not dirty. and the letter q and h work perfectly. and i even managed to set it all up myself (with just a little help from the computer super star).
