easter bonnet

last week i stopped into madame patou's vintage shop on w.10th st, she pointed to a millinery treasure, made all of fabric petals. she had set it in the window, and referred to it as a louise hat. so in light of easter, i thought it was time to go try it on.
she was unfortunately closed on saturday..bummer but i thought what the heck why not check out open hands which is just across the street. lo and behold, they had a proper pale pink flower crusted number. being thatit was THE day for easter bonnet buying, i took it home.
hard to know how much i'll have use for it. easter and a couple of spring afternoons. then a foto shoot. then perhaps a gift...

my treo suffered a midlife crisis this weekend and i have lost ALL my numbers. the guy at the verizon store was not nice about it.
luckily my new shoes came in the mail. so the news of my treo blues were vaguely balanced out by my jazzy blues.
