easter bonnet

last week i stopped into madame patou's vintage shop on w.10th st, she pointed to a millinery treasure, made all of fabric petals. she had set it in the window, and referred to it as a louise hat. so in light of easter, i thought it was time to go try it on.
she was unfortunately closed on saturday..bummer but i thought what the heck why not check out open hands which is just across the street. lo and behold, they had a proper pale pink flower crusted number. being thatit was THE day for easter bonnet buying, i took it home.
hard to know how much i'll have use for it. easter and a couple of spring afternoons. then a foto shoot. then perhaps a gift...
