fine wale cord 80's jumpsuit (e. village vintage-can't remember shop name), lanvin patent heels (super sale at zoe in princeton), silver hoops (broadway), native american beaded necklace (santa fe thrift?)
victorian dress (maine antique mall), betsey johnson slip (came with a dress i bought eons ago in santa fe), knee socks ( respectively--i went for the navy for this look), marni pebble platforms (bigtime zoe sale)
indeeen super hoody coat (oak fall splurge), over the knee wool socks (h+m gifted by cedez), chloe oxfords (intermix supersale)

..i feel like i kinda dropped the ball and maybe should've asked your opinion earlier as per outfit options....we might shoot a couple more looks today..

i can't believe it, but i am starting to like chuck bass.

this is my first christmas wish..the blackbird twin reflex 35mm camera..it comes with two masks, one of which makes square photos!!! my dreams of a new school handy dandy brownie type camera has been answered! (thank you to the japanese for being so smart and clever.)

i swear, i haven't been blowing you off..i've been trying to complete these.

they are either done or just sooo close..see here (spring'07) and here (2 weeks ago) to see what they looked like before..and please leave me a comment if you are into it, or even if you aren't. critiques are always appreciated!

ms. angela barrow's amazing wares are up for view at cheek-ie.com..i was a bit trepidatious but the photos from the lookbook shoot came out quite well...
p.s. this blogspot might get a bit too much me for a minute..i have all these outfit posts saved on my desktop and i figure i should probably post them rather than chuck them..also we did the BUST mag shoot on friday and i've got a bunch of pictures of that and the outfit prep.. (they are going to be doing a style profile on me for the february/march issue..the assignment was to pick my fave 2 outfits--i nearly had a panic attack. i have too many favorite outfits..we shot 4. i kinda want to do a reshoot, as i just FINALLY unpacked all my necklaces from moving and realized there is more bling to blang out)..stay tuned for further narcissim..and apologies in advance if it gets to be too much.

eggleston retrospective at the whitney!!!!

mr. william eggleston, photographs and videos 1961-2008, opened last week!! he is one of my super favorites, + undeniably one of the all time greatest photographers to have ever clicked a shutter. he is also the pioneer of color snapshot photography, paving the way for the likes of juergen teller, terry richardson, nan goldin, martin parr, ryan mcginley, wolfgang tillmans and bien sur, moi aussi.
i'm going tomorrow and seriously am so excited to see his dye transfer prints in person!
also gossip girl is on tonight..everything is looking terrifically sunny over in these parts!

so cyclical..

watched singles tonight..so good. the flannel and senor vedder and all kinds of awesome. really brought me back to 8th grade or 9th..i don't remember exactly, but my crush at the time thought i looked like bridget fonda and i got glad.

it couldn't have gone any other way..
