we've returned from the grande tour ofOten (also referred to as 'out of service').
+i've got 36 rolls of film and countless polaroids to show for it...
yet shockingly or atypically rather, i shot hardly any digital (though i did take a bunch of iPhone shots for twitter +facebook of course)...

you've likely noticed, i've taken a break from my virtual sketchbook-in order to focus on my actual tangible life, grad school applications+the like. so apologies for the lack of updates but c'est la vie..i think it'll be easier to post as this weather continues it's decline into frigidity.

i begin scanning tomorrow morning so stay tuned for studio updates!

so, i've got many many many fotos to share from this wild adventure i've been on for the last 2 weeks, from weddingtimes, to runways, to disneyland, to fireworks over the valley and so much space in between.
i've moved residences every 2 days for weeks+it's getting kind of craycray. no scratch that, it's just been a CRAZY couple of weeks.
i'll be back on the right coast as of thursday and will start jamming these fotos up.
sorry for the delay but i sure hope you've had a brilliant star spangled couple of days/weeks.

14.1.-6.--behind the scenes of our magazine party shoot. the day was pretty crap but erika was completely amazing+ my gals, jill+kat, are beyond delightful to work with.....
i'm totally jazzed with the results!!! all kinds of hotness+pattern clash. (i'll share them with y'all after we suss out the edit for this impending awesome publication).

our dear and handsome polaroid friend, mr. grant worth has an opening tuesday night at heist gallery. it's a polaroid show, called 12 instances, curated by molly surno (who i think went to icp at the same time as me)...

bed stuy on high.

first barBq of the season was fittingly on tom mylan's roof. you may be familiar with his work. he's the famous butcher of brooklyn and part of the marlow posse.

(serious apologies from the crappy quality of these polaroids, xabi took his laptop to spain+i don't have the scanner software on mine..)

we were caught up in some magic and couldn't make it back until fridy.

we did everything there was to do..made the train, hit an orchard, seriously nailed it at the thrift stores (might have to do a post about that later), lunch with dad, drinks with a high school bestE, mad luck with radical radio play, drove around with the top down, stayed up later than intended, indulged in whiskey tumblers+slid across the floor in our socks, listened to crickets, found petticoats+basically all dreams fulfilled.

we linked arms to the waterfront

just after finishing up a meeting with the lovely christophe (about a potential foto blogging gig at nerve.com), my buddy joel (the albertan's main man) called me saying he needed band fotos by the end of the day for some promo.
i grabbed my polaroids (! my 680 is fixed!!!), some film packs+headed to their rehearsal space on n.6th.. we meandered over to the water to the newish park off n.7th and kent (the one with sweet manhattan in the background).
i shot one pack (10 fotos) +c'est tout! we were done, with 3 that they loved ready to go.
perfecto.

dear readers, i want to sincerely apologize about the crap quality of the digi work as of late. my lumix is still broken+i can't find the warranty-but i remain hopeful, +thus not (yet) buying a new one..also, i have been taking tons of polaroids but gues what?..we have misplaced the power cord to our flatbed scanner+thus haven't been able to get them up on here.
however, i borrowed some from josh last night, so we're on the up.
