so, my soopa doopa dookie chain arrived a couple weeks ago + i love it to bits! i've gotten some pretty interesting responses from folks..one toughE brooklyn teenager was all, 'damn girrrl, that's awesome-you poppin'!"..while a way less awesome chick, named gemini, in topanga canyon had the audacity to say, (words dripping with disdain)"what is that? is that a scarf? it's relly weird." i was so shocked+thus tempted to say, "you're a raving bitch."..who says shit like that?...
anyhoo, everyone asks if i made it. nope this talented woman down in hotlanta did..if you don't know about yokoo-go visit her etsy shop+then have a gander at her flickr.

we hosted the folks at ours for my favorite pops's birthday...(we got dining room chairs--after having a table for 6 months--so we're in bidness..you'll be invited over soon!). xabi made amazing tapas, while i exploded gazpacho all over the kitchen+his steven alan button down. (guess who bought the home cooking needlepoint:)

bizarre brilliant

i've fotographed both of these oddities before. i think the horse in the top pic is so wild..it's right down the street from suze's house in silverlake+whenever i visit, the owners have moved it to a different area on the lawn..i might start a collection of pics now, and after a couple more years, send them a series..(sidenote, i've done some research and life size horses don't come cheap-at least a few grand)..as per the blue tree..well, i don't even know...
